Growing flowers has always been a passion of mine, but shortly after our sons were born our gardens became an overwhelming source of peace and creativity. Every year our gardens grew (almost as quickly as our boys) until we had taken every spot of space available and so we made the decision as a family to move to a small acreage in Comox. Somewhere our boys could run wild and we could build our dream of having a flower farm. When we purchased the property it was lush and beautiful. However it was overgrown & fraught with excess water issues.
Fast forward two years later, after a lot of hard work completely renovating the buildings on the property, restructuring and grading the land and prepping the soil our Flower Farm was ready for business!. This is a family affair. My husband Brendon spends his time building the infrastructure that really makes this dream possible. I can always be found with the flowers and of course our boys and dog (Fleur) playing amongst the flower beds.
We strive to grow everything as organically as we can. After all, we feed our family from the land as well. In addition, our bouquets are only wrapped in paper and we never use any chemicals or flower preservatives to increase vase life. This isn’t necessary though because the flowers are grown right here in the Comox Valley!
We are taking a dream and a passion and aiming to create a life of happiness and love. Not just for ourselves but all those around us.
